Call to Worship - Ginny Ellis

God called Abraham and Sarah to travel into the unknown,

To go wherever God would lead them.

Jesus calls us to be his disciples,

To take up the cross to follow him.

Like many through the centuries we are travelers in the journey of faith.

May our worship sustain us for the days and paths to come.

Assurance of Forgiveness - Ginny Ellis

Hear the Good News!  Who is in a position to condemn?  Only Christ.

And Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us.

If anyone is in Christ, that person becomes a new person altogether.

The past is finished and gone.  Everything has become fresh and new.

Friends, believe the good news of the gospel.

In Jesus Christ we are forgiven.

Passing the Peace - Ginny Ellis

Statement of our Faith: The Apostles Creed - Ginny Ellis

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
