Worship with Children

There is a place for children in every aspect of our church life. We welcome children in all three worship services.  At the Contemporary and Traditional Worship Service, there is a Children's Sermon. After the Children’s Sermon, children may choose to stay with their families or to leave the Sanctuary for a play-filled Christian education experience.

What should I wear?

For Early Worship, come as you are or dress in your Sunday best! Contemporary Worship is family-friendly and casual, so come however you feel most comfortable. Traditional Worship is a little more formal, but you’ll often see shorts and flip-flops.

Where do I go if I have questions or need directions?

There is a visitor’s table near the entrance with greeters ready to welcome you at both the Contemporary (9:00) and Traditional (11:00) services.

Where do I park?

There are three parking areas:

  • A paved lot is in the back of the Sanctuary (enter from Northshore Drive). There are reserved parking spaces for visitors here.

  • A grass lot is on the corner of Beach Drive and 7th Avenue North.

  • The Vinoy Hotel also opens its covered garage to us on Sunday mornings.

Valet parking is available for the 11:00 service.
