Christ caring for people through people

Stephen Ministers are Christians who receive special training to provide one-to-one Christian care to people in our congregation and community experiencing challenges in life – grief, loneliness, divorce, hospitalization, disability, job loss, and many other challenges that life can throw our way.

Stephen Ministers listen, care, encourage, and provide emotional and spiritual support to people going through a crisis or a difficult time.

Faith Community Nursing

Volunteer Registered Nurses and Congregational Health Promoters in the congregation are part of St. Anthony’s Faith Community Nursing Program - a partnership between hospitals and the faith community. The program assists congregations in connecting with local resources to provide educational information to address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the congregation. Additionally, volunteers do personal visits or phone follow-up as needed or requested.

Volunteers who prepare and deliver frozen meals to those who have experienced a birth, death, hospitalization or a crisis in life. There is always an opportunity to help this ministry by making a casserole or delivering meals.

Bus Ministry

Every Sunday people from Westminster Suncoast, Westminster Shores, Presbyterian Towers, and Westminster Palms can take the church bus to the 11:00 service.

There is an opportunity to volunteer for this ministry by driving our church bus.
