Christ caring for people through people

FPC Website Stephen Ministry November 2018.jpg

Stephen Ministers are Christians who receive special training to provide one-to-one Christian care to people in our congregation and community experiencing challenges in life – grief, loneliness, divorce, hospitalization, disability, job loss, and many other challenges that life can throw our way.

Stephen Ministers listen, care, encourage, and provide emotional and spiritual support to people going through a crisis or a difficult time.

To learn how you can receive a Stephen Minister’s CONFIDENTIAL CARE, or to learn more about the Stephen Ministry program, contact Ginger McCoy, 727-804-2494, gmacc1@verizon.net or Terry Schoenberg, 727-667-1023, terrysch@tampabay.rr.com

Volunteer Registered Nurses and Congregational Health Promoters in the congregation are part of St. Anthony’s Faith Community Nursing Program - a partnership between hospitals and the faith community. The program assists congregations in connecting with local resources to provide educational information to address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the congregation. Additionally, volunteers do personal visits or phone follow-up as needed or requested.
