Welcome & Announcements - Rev. Robert Galloway

Call to Worship - Robert Galloway

The earth is the Lord’s, and all that is in it.

From God’s hand flows blessing and life.

Our stories are gathered into God’s story of salvation.

Our lives are sustained by God’s mercy and grace.

With thankful hearts, we bring our offerings of praise.

With joyful voices, we lift up our worship.

We come before the God of all.

Let us worship the living Lord.

*Processional Hymn #612: "We Praise You, O God" KREMSER

Call to Confession - Marilyn Mulcahy

Prayer of Confession (unison) - Marilyn Mulcahy

Merciful God, you call us to remember your saving acts, yet we forget your faithfulness in our daily lives. You call us to walk in the way of Christ, yet we wander after our own desires. You call us to love one another, yet we harbor grudges, withhold kindness, and fail to seek peace. We confess our pride, our fear, and our indifference. Forgive us, O Lord. Renew us by your Spirit, so that our lives may reflect your glory and our hearts may rest in your grace.

Assurance of Pardon - Marilyn Mulcahy

… Friends, believe the Good News: In Jesus Christ we are forgiven.

Passing the Peace - Marilyn Mulcahy

…The peace of Christ be with you. And also with you.

*Response #623: "I've Got Peace like a River" PEACE LIKE A RIVER

I’ve got peace like a river; I’ve got peace like a river;

I’ve got peace like a river in my soul. I’ve got a river, in my soul.

*Affirmation of Faith: Apostles’ Creed (unison) - Susan Luehrs

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Presentation of Our Gifts - Susan Luehrs

Offertory Anthem: "For the Beauty of the Earth," John Rutter (b.1945) - Chancel Choir

Gracious God, to Thee we raise

This our sacrifice of praise

For the beauty of the earth

For the beauty of the skies

For the love which from our birth

Over and around us lies

Gracious God, to Thee we raise

This our sacrifice of praise

For the beauty of each hour

Of the day and of the night

Hill and vale, and tree and flower

Sun and moon and stars of light

Gracious God, to Thee we raise

This our sacrifice of praise

For the joy of ear and eye

For the heart and mind's delight

For the mystic harmony

Linking sense to sound and sight

Gracious God, to Thee we raise

This our sacrifice of praise

For the joy of human love

Brother, sister, parent, child

Friends on earth and friends above

For all gentle thoughts and mild

Gracious God, to Thee we raise

This our sacrifice of praise

For each perfect gift of Thine

To our race so freely given

Graces human and divine

Flowers of earth and buds of heaven

Gracious God, to Thee we raise

This our sacrifice of praise

*Doxology OLD HUNDREDTH

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye heav'nly host; Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.

The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper - Robert Galloway

Invitation to the Table

Great Prayer of Thanksgiving

The Lord be with you. And also with you.

Lift up your hearts. We lift them to the Lord.

Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right to give our thanks and praise.

… with all the faithful of every time and place, who forever sing to the glory of your name:

Hymn 552: “Holy, Holy, Holy” LAND OF REST

Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.  Hosanna in the highest.

…Great is the mystery of faith:

Christ has died. Christ has risen. Christ will come again.

…We pray all these things as our Savior taught us, using the words:

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done. On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation. But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

The Words of Institution

The Communion of the People

Unison Prayer after Communion

God of grace, you renew us at your table with the bread of life. You nourish us with your unending love. May this gift of grace strengthen us in faith, deepen our love for one another, and empower us to serve you with joy and compassion. Guide us to live as Christ’s disciples in the world. Fill us with your Spirit so that we may be witnesses to your love in all we do. Amen.
