Call to Worship - Robert Galloway

How majestic is our creator, the Lord our God.

God’s power and love is proclaimed through the wonder of the universe.

God tends the lilies of the field,

And feeds the birds of the air.

The Lord cares for us even more than these.

God calls us beloved children. Let us respond with trust, wonder, and praise.

Come, let us worship God.

Processional Hymn #33: “Praise the Lord! God’s Glories Show” LLANFAIR

Call to Confession - Ann Murray

Prayer of Confession - Ann Murray

Merciful God, you have made us in your image and called us good, yet we worry more than we trust you. We hoard rather than share. We look inward instead of upward. We forget that your care sustains all life. We are quick to praise you when all is well, but slow to trust you in seasons of uncertainty. Forgive our fear, restore our faith, and remind us that we belong to you.

Assurance of Pardon - Ann Murray

…Friends, believe the good news: In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven!

Passing the Peace - Ann Murray

…The peace of Christ be with you. And also with you.

*Response #481: “I Believe in God the Father” (stanza 1 only) GENEVAN 42

The Sacrament of Baptism: Austyn & Haines Polster - Robert Galloway

*Apostles’ Creed (unison, included in baptism liturgy):

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Prayer for Illumination - Mike Hurtubise

Old Testament Reading: Psalm 8 - Mike Hurtubise

New Testament Reading: Matthew 6:25-34 - Robert Galloway

Presentation of our Gifts – Invitation and Prayer - Mike Hurtubise

…Please join me in a unison Prayer of Dedication:

God of providence, you provide enough for today and hope for tomorrow. May these offerings be signs of trust in your care, instruments of your peace, and seeds of your renewing grace in our church and in your world. Shape us into stewards who give with joy and followers who serve with purpose. Let our generosity reflect your love that holds all things together.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done. On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation. But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
