Call to Worship - Robert Galloway
Christ has set us free by his death and resurrection,
no longer bound by chains of fear or shame.
We are called to serve one another through love.
We are called to bear each other's burdens and share each other's joy.
Come, let us live as Spirit-led people,
and worship the God who makes all things new.
*Processional Hymn #721: “Lord, You Have Come to the Lakeshore” PESCADOR DE HOMBRES
Call to Confession - Susan Schlecht
Prayer of Confession (unison) - Susan Schlecht
Eternal God, we confess that we have tried to hide from you when we have done wrong. We have lived for ourselves, and apart from you. We have turned from our neighbors and have refused to bear the burdens of others. We have ignored the pain of the world, and passed by the hungry, the poor, and the oppressed. In your great mercy, forgive our sins and free us from selfishness, so that we may choose your will and obey your commandments.
Assurance of Pardon - Susan Schlecht
…Friends, believe the good news: In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven!
Passing the Peace - Susan Schlecht
…The peace of Christ be with you. And also with you.
*Response #582: “Glory to God Whose Goodness Shines on Me” (v. 1) GLORY TO GOD

*Affirmation of Faith: Apostles’ Creed (unison) - Kirby Volz
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
Presentation of our Gifts – Invitation - Kirby Volz

Prayer of Dedication - Robert Galloway
Please join me in a unison Prayer of Dedication:
God of generous love, we offer these gifts in grateful response to your goodness. Through Christ, you have shown us the truth of discipleship - that in giving, we receive, in serving we find freedom. Use these offerings to build community and kindle hope. Shape us into people whose lives become offerings of love and service, following Jesus with persistent faithfulness. Guide our actions, thoughts, words, and deeds so they exhibit your mercy and love. We give glory and thanks to you. Amen.
Prayers of the People and the Lord’s Prayer - Robert Galloway
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done. On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation. But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
*Closing Hymn #623: “I’ve Got Peace like a River” PEACE LIKE A RIVER
